Inslee By Design

Good morning, y'all!
A few weeks ago I wrote about a designer named Inslee Haynes. I knew little about her as I originally found her art on Tumblr. I was inspired by her illustrations and focused on finding more. I was only able to find images on Google, but it was a start.
Although, yesterday I struck gold. I was on Pinterest and Marley Lilly had pinned a fall bucket list. On the image they used for their cover photo was an Inslee original. I clicked on it in excitement and they had linked her drawing to her website. I was thrilled! I found out a lot of information about her company and read quite a lot of her blog. What also made me very happy was that her site is full of her drawings. I am so in love with what she does! She's a very lucky woman! I encourage all of you to check her out HERE!

Wear to Work Updos

Good morning, y'all!
Before I start blogging today I'd like to take a moment to remember all the mean and women who died 13 years ago today in the terrorist attack against America.

Today I do not have a lot of time to post, but I put together a collage of updos that are appropriate for the work place! I work in a restaurant, so these are just PERFECT. Do not be fooled though. These styles can work in other places of work, too. You can even rock these styles casually!

What are some of your favorite hair styles for work?

2014 Pinterest Fall Fashion Inspiration

Good morning, y'all!
Yesterday I was on Pinterest pinning my little heart out and stubbled across some beautiful outfits that have given me some fall fashion inspiration!
I chose my favorites and I will be sharing them with you! :)
Enjoy!

Of course I LOVE neutrals for any occasion! Nude and tan tones are my absolute favorite. I love how in the first look a pair of heels are dressed down with a pair of jeans and a loose fitting sweater! The leopard print clutch is an added bonus. As for the second look I adore the lacy top and maroon pants. These two pieces are paired perfectly with gold accessories!

I am not sure if y'all consider gray a neutral, but I certainly do! I love these two looks that are also compiled with neutrals. The first look is super cute! I love the gray vest with a flowy shirt and black pants! The cup of coffee and sunglasses complete a very easy going look! The second look is also one to drool over! I love the simplicity of the outfit added with lots of crystals and a pop of color from a cross body bag!

Lastly are two very laid back looks! I love these looks because they are simple and can be worn with a good ole pair of Converse All Stars! I am dying to own a pair! Hopefully I can purchase a pair in the near future! Anyway, I love these looks because again they are put together with neutral pieces. The first look is so easy. A t-shirt, an army jacket to keep warm from the autumn breeze, rolled up jeans, and tennis shoes. Perfect. The second look is also amazing! I love that an oxford shirt is dressed down with a pullover sweatshirt, a pair of jeans, and of course those tennis shoes!

Thank you all for reading!

Looks For Less

Good morning, y'all!

Today I am doing a post about looks for less. Every time I post something about fashion most of you say you love my style, but you can't afford it! No problem! Most of the time, neither can I, so I try to find look-alikes. I will be posting links for each clothing item in all the ensembles above! The main reason for this post is so y'all know that clothes like these can be found FOR LESS. If you love this style you should try and pursue it!

*Please keep in mind that the look-alikes I have found
may not be exactly like the items pictured above!*

Without any further adieu, let's get started!

Look #3: Button-down//Skirt//Shoes

I hope y'all found some things you liked.
Again I want to say that if you love these looks they
absolutely CAN be mimicked for way LESS!

What did you think of this post?
Will you be looking for more look-alikes?

Inslee Haynes Fashion Illustrations

Good Wednesday Morning, all!
Sorry for my absence yesterday! I am a very busy bee! Regardless, I am back today!

So, this morning I was on my regular reblogging spree on Tumblr and stubbled onto another GORGEOUS illustration like the ones above, so I took matters into my own hands and went on a hunt for more! On my pursuit I found all of these lovely gems and the artist, Inslee Haynes. I was so concerned with finding more of these beauties because the couple I had seen in the past had always gave me some kind of fashion inspiration! All of the drawings are young women much like myself and others reading this post that have an impeccable style that I love. Their clothing is clothing I wish to own. They are also styled to the nines.

I picked out a few of my favorites that I found on Google Images and posted them here for you all. What I love about these in particular is that they are outfits made of neutrals! (Minus the woman in the pink shirt, but her pants are plain black and her shoes are leopard, which is indeed, a neutral!) Anyway, I am a HUGE fan of neutrals. My mother even sometimes tells me to add color to my life. I do, but in my own way. I like to add scarves, shoes and jewelry instead of overly loud clothing items!

There I go, getting off topic again! Sorry! But back to these lovely ladies! Like I was saying I love that they're all wearing neutrals! I love how they add a pop of color, like I would, with shoes or purses! And I also love that in each drawing the woman are doing something. They're not just modeling, they're moving into their new apartment or going on a trip. I think that these woman doing something sends out such a good message.
Women can look stylish while being able-bodied citizens! I love it!

You can find more of these drawings by looking up "Inslee Haynes Fashion Illustrations" on Google Images! I am not sure if she has a blog of some sort, but if she does and someone finds it, please let me know in a comment!
Thanks for reading!

J.Crew Factory Fall Fashion Inspiration

Happy Monday, y'all!
I don't know about you, but usually on Mondays I need a little extra something to perk me up, and for me, that's online shopping! (It's a bad habit, I know.) Today I was looking around on J.Crew Factory and decided to check out the fall looks they took the liberty in putting together! I think this feature on the Factory website is so awesome because I always get so much fashion inspiration! Although I prefer the J.Crew brand, I sometimes like to go to less expensive places and recreate the looks with other brand names. Target is usually my first stop in recreating these outfits because I think the styles at Target can sometimes be so similar to what J.Crew Factory has for way less!

Anyway, the J.Crew Factory website had 10 looks already put together and these are the four I absolutely adore! I would wear every single one of these outfits! I like they way they mix items that make them look like they truly belong together! In addition to posting the pictures of my favorite outfits, I am also going to include links (below) to each article of clothing above!

Happy shopping! (You deserve it!)

Saturday Shopping Spree

Happy Saturday! I plan on spending my day in bed, cuddled up with my computer until it's time for work! It's a muggy day here in North Carolina, so there's nothing better to do, right? Right! Of course spending your morning on the computer eventually leads to online shopping. I put together a small collage of things that I instantly wanted the moment I saw them. I think what I love most about all the pieces is that they're great for fall! Three quarter-sleeve t-shirts, jeans, scarves, and boots galore!

You can find this all these great things with these links:

LC Lauren Conrad

Yesterday I wore one of my favorite shirts made by the one and only Lauren Conrad! (See it  HERE.) I absolutely adore all of her clothing! Her summer line is complied with nice and easy pieces that look and feel good on! Her clothing is only available at Kohl's! Luckily there is one a few miles from my house! She is my go-to girl there! If you're looking for affordable and high fashion clothing, I would strongly recommend her.

You can see more of Lauren here: http://www.kohls.com/feature/lclaurenconrad.jsp

Lastly, it wouldn't be a post from me unless I uploaded a few of my favorites for you all to see! So, below here are a few things to die for online at Khols.com!
(P.S. I can't wait for her fall line!) *Winky face emoji*

GiGi New York

Hmm… Where have you seen those shiny gold letters before? Maybe on a purse? Wait… Is that a monogram? OMG! But where can you get a purse with a classy, simple, and stylish monogram? Well, you can get one from GiGi New York! If you're like me, you're constantly on Tumblr or Pinterest and you fangirl over clothes that are nowhere to be found all over the internet. Recently I repined a post on Pinterest of a VERY chic clutch and it was engraved with a golden monogram. It was small, centered, and fabulous. Maybe you have seen a few for yourself. I was so obsessed with this clutch that I searched all over the internet until I found GiGi's website.

Pictured below are some of my favorites that I have stubbled across!

I honestly think these purses are to die for! They're large, have nice textures (from what I have seen online), and make a fashion statement. What's not to love, right? Well, unfortunately, I do have a love-hate relationship with this bag. I LOVE the bag itself, but HATE the price. GiGi's prices for handbags run anywhere from $250 to $595! Also, adding the personalization costs an extra $25 itself. I do sincerely want one, and I am strongly considering investing in one sometime soon. I am hoping that the bag is durable and can carry my large amount of unnecessary items that I keep in my current purse! I will be looking for more online reviews in hopes to be pleased by them.

I of course took matters into my hands and did a little online shopping on her website (www.giginewyork.com) so I could show you a few of my favorites!

All in all, I do adore this bag and would love to own one. Like I mentioned before I will be searching for online reviews in high hopes. The link to GiGi New York Online is above! Take a look for yourself! Happy shopping!
