Good Monday morning!

Today I am coming back with another post from Elite Daily! I found an awesome article about how we need to commit to loving ourselves as women.

The first thing the post asks you to do is take out a piece of paper and a pen and write down what you love about yourself. This may seem silly according to the article, but it really makes you think about yourself and who you really are. I wrote down that I am kind, genuine, and that I adore my eyelashes! "Self love is the most important part about growing up because it's so easy to get lost in the blur."

#IAmMarvelous is to remind us to love ourselves and to embrace it. 

Don't delete your social media post because it did not receive the number of likes you would have liked it to. As the article says, you are not the number of likes on your Instagram post or the number of views on your Snapchat story. You are not the number of retweets or favorites on your Twitter account. 

"You are lovely - realize that and forget all of the noise."

I strongly hope you all take the time to read this full article as it is filled with so much truth. As women we need to love ourselves. You are so important. Each and every one of you. People are different. That's what makes us all unique. Embrace it!

Dreaming of My Dream Home

Well, it's pretty obvious that I am dreaming big when it comes to my future home! I am originally from the North and moved to the South when I was 10 years old. I have since then picked up all the southern customs. I love all things monogrammed, I hale to southern hospitality, I've picked up the wonderful accent, and I want a big fat southern style home! I want the whole package. I want a giant white house with a wrap around porch, windows everywhere, and the treelined driveway to top it off! 

Not only will the outside be gorgeous, but the inside will be as well. I love decorating rooms and painting them just the right color to make it feel like a warm and welcoming place for all my family and friends. I of course will have wooden floors all through out the house, and a beautiful back patio to cook out and entertain all summer long. Hopefully the view from my back window will be similar to this, american flag flying and all… 

I would LOVE to live on the lake when I eventually have my dream home. I personally think that waking up to something so beautiful in the morning is good for the soul. I could sit outside in the mornings with my coffee and a good book and just enjoy myself before getting ready for my daily routine. It also provides an awesome place for your children to make life-long memories. They'd tell their children about when they ran across grandma's dock and jumped into the lake on a hot summers day.

Like I said before, I obviously am dreaming big here. I honestly just hope to become a successful woman with a loving husband and wonderful children. If that path comes with this beautiful home I have dreamt up in my head, then I am just that much more lucky. If not, all I need in my life is my family with a roof over our heads. All you can do is hope for a life full of health and happiness.
